Harmonic strength
Ring (energy around 3 kHz)
How to read it. Time runs left to right, pitch goes up the screen, brighter means louder. A sung note shows as a stack of lines: the lowest (1) is the note itself, and 2, 3, 4… are its harmonics — exact multiples of that note. Which harmonics are strong is what makes a voice sound bright, dark, breathy or ringing.

Try changing the vowel on one note — "ee" to "ah" to "oo" — and watch the harmonics shift while the note stays put.
Warm-ups and technique drills from well-known voice teachers and methods. Each exercise repeats a half step higher or lower each time, like a coach at a piano.
Voice
Not sure? Most men are a Baritone, most women an Alto. If the top notes strain, pick a lower voice.
Strictness
Each repeat
"Goes lower" starts each exercise at the top of your range and steps down. Many coaches warm up this way to bring the light upper voice down.
Set a riff. They match it or take a letter. Spell SING and you're out.

Key
Any key matches the shape of the run, so anyone can sing it in their own range. Same key also checks you hit the same pitches (any octave is fine).
